Dorothy lives with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry on a farm in Kansas. One day Dorothy is out looking for her little dog, Toto, when a cyclone hits and lifts up their house, along with Dorothy and Toto, high into the air! Dorothy wakes up in the Land of Oz to find that their house has landed on the Wicked Witch of the East. Dorothy wants to return home but to do so she must travel to the Emerald City and ask for help from the mysterious Wizard of Oz. She meets all manner of strange and wonderful folk on her journey and makes friends with a Scarecrow, a Tin man and a Cowardly Lion. Will the friends get their wishes granted by the Wizard? Will the Wicked Witch of the West get in their way? Will Dorothy ever find her way home? You'll have to join us to find out!

Suitable for all the family, this is a theatrical adaptation of the novel, 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum. With a mixture of budding young thespians, aged 8-16 years old, and some local professional actors, this production promises to be a spectacular spectacle with lots of community spirit thrown in for good measure. Join us and enjoy an afternoon of theatre right on your doorstep.
